If insects, pests, eggs, droppings, nesting material, or other signs of infestation are found inside an espresso machine, grinder, or any other product during warranty assessment or repair, the product warranty may be voided.
Infestation is not considered a manufacturing defect. Damage caused directly or indirectly by insects, pests, foreign objects, contamination, or related hygiene issues is not covered under BrewRatio’s warranty.
If an infested product is accepted for assessment or repair, the customer will be responsible for any inspection fee, cleaning fee, infestation-handling fee, replacement parts, and repair charges required to make the product safe and serviceable.
BrewRatio may decline to receive, open, assess, or continue repairing an infested product if it presents hygiene, safety, contamination, or pest-spreading concerns. In such cases, the customer may be required to arrange pest treatment, cleaning, collection, or disposal before any further service can be considered.
Please note that infestation can cause hidden damage to wiring, circuit boards, sensors, motors, switches, seals, internal components, and other parts of the machine. BrewRatio cannot be held responsible for any current or future issues caused by infestation, contamination, pest damage, or residue left behind inside the product.
To reduce the risk of infestation, customers should keep the machine clean, avoid leaving coffee grounds or food residue around the machine, empty drip trays and waste containers regularly, and store the product in a clean and dry environment.
If you suspect that your machine has been affected by insects or pests, please inform BrewRatio clearly when submitting your repair request before bringing or sending the product to our service centre.
