FAQ:

Are consumables and wear-and-tear parts covered by warranty?

Consumables, accessories, and normal wear-and-tear parts are not covered by BrewRatio’s warranty unless expressly stated otherwise.

These items naturally wear out over time due to normal use, cleaning, maintenance, heat, pressure, water exposure, coffee oils, grinding friction, or repeated operation.

Examples of consumables and wear-and-tear parts include, but are not limited to:

  • Group gaskets
  • Seals and o-rings
  • Shower screens
  • Filter baskets
  • Water filters
  • Grinder burrs
  • Grinder dosing parts affected by coffee residue or clogging
  • Valves, washers, tubing, and small maintenance parts
  • Cleaning products, descaling products, and other consumables
  • Removable accessories and external accessories

Warranty also does not cover routine maintenance, cleaning, descaling, calibration, adjustment, user training, or issues caused by lack of maintenance.

If a consumable or wear-and-tear part fails because of normal use, scale build-up, poor cleaning, coffee residue, clogging, misuse, or lack of maintenance, replacement will be treated as a paid service or paid part replacement.

If BrewRatio determines that a part failed due to a verified manufacturing defect within the applicable warranty period, BrewRatio may repair or replace the affected part at its discretion, subject to warranty eligibility and product assessment.

Please submit a repair request if you are unsure whether your issue is covered under warranty.
